Volunteer to oversee a project...

As an agent for Tembo-Kenya you can manage one or more projects according to your skills. You can supervise the installation of wells or the protection of springs. You can organize community development and training with our Kenyan partners. You would be expected to control distribution of funds and to render accounts. Some teachers bring their skills to offer seminars to Kenyan teachers. Others can actually teach for term in a school. Volunteer Tembo agents have local accommodation and transport. Maybe you are not yet at a stage in your life where you can think about opportunities to visit Kenya. You can still help Tembo-Kenya put food on the table in rural Kenya in a number of ways.

Some ways to build on your own skills:

• Are you a good communicator?
  Tell friends, family and colleagues about the work of Tembo-Kenya by passing on the links to videos, blog and the newsletter.
• Can you speak to schools, clubs, community and church groups?
  Tembo-Kenya will help you prepare a talk.
• Do you have skills as a fund-raiser?
  Can you solicit funding through corporate donations or grants? Or can you organise a fund raiser such as a concert, dinner or golf game? We are always looking for ideas.
